To discuss the preparations for the next edition of Halal Expo Canada and share their inputs to further enhance the show offerings and the conference program content.
Toronto - February 13th, 2020 (Four Points By Sheraton - Toronto Airport): As part of the organizers' continuous efforts to further improve the Halal Expo Canada experience for both traders and buyers, they invited the leaders, governments officials, and associations for early planning meeting to discuss the major development and share their ideas for the upcoming Halal Expo Canada 2020 scheduled to be held from September 17-19 in Mississauga, Ontario. The meeting covered major areas and topics of the halal industry here in Canada and generated great and innovative ideas that will contribute to show successful 2nd-year edition. Every single attendee agreed that the event has proven to be the ideal platform that plays a major role to further elevate the standards of our fast-growing halal lifestyle here in Canada and beyond. They also reaffirm their support to ensure the growth of Halal Expo Canada to cater not only to the Muslim community businesses but to contribute to the growth of Canadian trade and the economy as a whole. According to Dr. Hamid Slimi, Chairman of Advisory of Committee and Chairman of Canadian Centre for Deen Studies, that Halal Expo Canada will experience a substantial growth in the coming years due to the positive future indicators in the Canadian economy and the growing demands for Halal products and services. He also indicated that there is a need for a common vision and strategic planning to achieve the desired goals. The meeting included the most influential leaders from both businesses and organizations including the Ontario Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs - OMAFRA, Turkish Consulate - Trade Consul, Halal Monitoring Authority, Baking Association of Canada, Ontario Muslim Chamber of Commerce (OMCC), Maple Leaf Foods, Maple Lodge Farms and among other major companies and organizations from the Halal industry. We are very pleased with the meeting outcome and we will continually strive to offer the halal market here in Canada the most innovative and valuable trade show experience in the upcoming Halal Expo Canada 2020.
